Here are our betting tips from the pick of the games this weekend.
West Ham v Chelsea
Chelsea have won six of their last seven games and Eden Hazard looks like he is at his lethal best at the moment. In Alvaro Morata they have a spearhead at their attack who likes to hide only to reappear in the most vital positions. David Moyes has already tasted defeat three times with the hammers and he wouldn’t have wanted to see Chelsea be his next opponents. Unfortunately, we can’t see him overcoming this mountain and neither do the bookmakers at 1/2 for Chelsea to win.
Burnley v Watford
Burnley and Watford have both been the leagues surprise packages this year. It is not Deeney of Ighdalo wowing the fans though. Instead it is the Brazilian star Richarlison who is terrorising defences. Burnley have been great at the back though with their limited resources and I think these two teams will find themselves evenly matched. A draw is at 21/10.
Southampton v Arsenal
Arsenal are coming off a big loss last weekend and meet an underwhelming Southampton side. The Saints have not been at their best this year but I always fancy them as they are a well drilled team from the youth right up to the first team. Arsenal are wounded right now and I fancy the Saints to ad to the misery, especially at home. Bookies have them at 3/1 to do just that.
Liverpool v Everton
If your about to claim your free bet and want to maximise it with a guaranteed win on the weekend then you can’t help but look at this fixture. What would have been an exciting fixture to look forward to only has me wincing at the potential goal haul Liverpool might rack up. After a 7-0 win over Spartak Moscow and Coutinho looking hungry in red again god help Everton. Liverpool will win 3/10.
Manchester United v Manchester City
The biggest game on the weekend considering the Liverpool derby will be such a one sided affair. In fact this game will likely the best one all year. The country’s two top teams come together and with that extra derby spice it will be interesting to see how the teams set up stools. I will imagine that despite their win over Arsenal, United will be making sure they don’t concede before they go for a goal. This is classic Mourinho and will at least hold off City for a while. City meanwhile may have lost in the Champions League but they are in no way going to let that affect them. Their midfield has been tearing teams apart. David Silva has signed an extension to his contract and he will be hoping to celebrate another derby win. Man United will definitely put up more of fight than others but will not beat City who will come out close winners. The are 5/4 to win the derby.
